Allotments
The allotments in Piddington and Piddington Green have now been leased to the Parish Council by Bucks County Council and we have gradually improved the general appearance of this section of the Parish.
In general the allotments are maintained to a very high standard and much of the produce finds its way to the Annual Show which takes place every August/September in the Village Hall.
The allotments are available to rent by local residents; a large allotment costs £25 per year and a small allotment costs £15 per year.
There are currently no allotments available for hire but if you are interested please contact the Parish Clerk and you can join a waiting list for the next plot to become available.
As a legally constituted body we are obliged to have an Allotment Tenancy Agreement & Rules. You can view and download these here.

Piddington Recreation Ground
The Recreation Ground in Piddington has recently been refurbished and some new equipment installed.
In addition to the small adventure playground with its rope climbling frame and slide there’s a bouncing animal and two sizes of swings for older children and toddlers.
Over the far side of the recreation ground there is a small 5-a-side football pitch.
Sandwiched between the two areas is a ball wall with facilities for football, cricket and basketball/netball.
We haven’t forgotten the grown-up’s either. A picnic bench provides a welcome refuge whilst watching the youngsters have fun.
A new piece of play equipment for the younger children was purchased at a cost of £6,400. Red Kite Housing contributed £3000 towards this project and the Parish Council paid the remainder.
The new equipment seems to have been well received but we welcome your comments.
