What do you see when you look at the Christmas lights on the goat willow tree on Piddington Green? A dragon or a dinosaur?
Some people have seen both – some have clearly had too many mince pies!
The lights are powered by solar rechargeable batteries. The lack of sunlight over Christmas has meant that the batteries have to recharged manually and swapped around regularly. This important task has been taken on by Zac who lives on the Old Oxford Road. He has been monitoring the lights and trudging out in all weathers to make sure that the lights are kept on.
Our thanks to him for this excellent work. He’s also a very handy man with a rake.
