D-Day 80th Anniversary Celebrations

We would like to invite residents, parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren, aunties and uncles, nieces and nephews to come along and join us in a cream tea to learn a little about the history of the fallen heroes of the village and appreciate what previous generations have lived through.

• Presentation by our local historian
• Children’s activities
• Traditional games of the era

We will make our way down to The Dashwood Roadhouse at 7pm to light the beacon in celebration.
